The idea of a Forty | Forty came to me when I did leadership consulting for a firm called Forty Forty. When I chatted with the founders about their branding choice, they both looked at me with childlike mischief in their eyes and said, “We always wanted to do something big before we turned forty. So we left our safe, cushy jobs, and started our own thing.” Forty Forty was born and so was their journey on a path of possibilities they never imagined.
So What’s A Forty | Forty Anyway?
A Forty | Forty is a goal to work towards something meaningful in a person’s life and doing so with intention and consistency. It’s a number that signifies meaningful commitment to something important. It gives enough momentum to hone in on the experience, craft, or habit to ground it and bring it to life.
